A heroic student

 Gong Yuben is an 18 year old student at Zaozhuang No 2 Middle School in Shadong province. He lost most of his right leg in an accident on November 3.

  He was riding on the back of an electric bicycle driven by classmate Chu when a truck drove toward them. Gong pushed Chu out of the way and was struck by the truck.
  He underwent two major operations. Gong Yuben's doctor, Zhao Yanting said: "The boy's physical state is stable. We cut off some necrosis on the wound and the little toe of the left foot this morning. But still there is serious necrosis and turgidity on the left foot. It still needs 10 to 14 days to see whether his left foot can be secured or not".

  Yuben's family is poor; only his father works. Chu and many students of the school have donated money to help him. Everybody admires him for his action and netizens called the boy "the most beautiful high school student".

Un élève héroïque

 Gong Yuben, âgé de 18 ans, est un élève de l'école de Zoazhuang No 2 dans la province de Shadong. Il a perdu presque toute sa jambe droite dans un accident, le 3 novembre.

  Il se trouvait à l'arrière d'une bicyclette électrique conduite par Chu, un camarade de classe, quand un camion leur a foncé dessus. Gong a eu le temps de pousser Chu vers le bas-côté avant d'être heurté par le camion. Il a subi deux opérations majeures. Le docteur de Gong Yuben, Zhao Yanting a déclaré: " L'état physique du garçon est stable. Nous avons coupé une nécrose sur la plaie et le petit orteil du pied gauche ce mati. Mais il y a toujours une nécrose grave et une turgescence sur le pied gauche. Il me faut encore netre 10 et 14 jours pour voir si son pied gauche peut être sauvé ou non."

 La famille de Yuben est pauvre; seul son père travaille. Chu et de nombreux autres élèves de l'école ont donné de l'argent pour l'aider. Tout le monde l'admire pour ce qu'il a fait et les internautes l'ont surnommé "le plus bel élève du lycéé."
