Cult members beat woman to death

In August, the trial of five Almighty God cult members began. The cult members beat a woman to death because she refused to give her phone number to one of them. She was at a McDonald’s with her seven-year old son when the incident happened.
The cult members were there to recruit new members and when Mrs. Wu the victim refused to give her number they started beating her while screaming at other people that this would happened to them if they did not join the cult.
Even if this cult is not allowed in China, it claims millions of members.

Zhang Fan and her father Zhang Lidong were given death sentences, Lu Yingchun was sentenced to life imprisonment and the two others, Zhang Hang and Zhang Qiaolian, were given 10 and seven-year jail terms.

The murderer showed no remorse. He said that he beat her because she was a demon and that he had to destroy her.

En août dernier a commencé le procès de cinq membres de la secte dite de Dieu Tout-Puissant qui avaient battu une femme à mort parce qu’elle avait refusé de donner son numéro de téléphone. 

Mme Wu était au MacDonald’s avec son fils de sept ans quand les membres de la secte sont entrés pour recruter de nouveaux adeptes et la victime a refusé de leur donner son numéro. Ils ont commencé à la battre tout en criant aux autres personnes que c’est ce qu’ils les attendaient s’ils ne rejoignaient pas leur secte.
Même si cette secte est interdite en Chine, elle revendique plusieurs millions de membres.

Zhang Fan et son père Zhang Lidong ont été condamnés a mort par la court, Lu Yingchum a été condamné à l’emprisonnement à vie et les deux autres, Zhang Hang et Zhang Qiaolian ont écopé respectivement de dix et sept ans de prison.

Fan n’a montré aucun remords. En effet il a même déclaré qu’il l’avait battue parce qu’elle était un démon et qu’il devait la détruire.
