Recently, China thought it was better to isolate the town of Shijiazhuang and its 11 milions inhabitants because of a massive test campaign. This same tests revealed that out of 1'251'875 people, 354 of them are Covid-19 positive. Of course, it's a very small amount of people but it's enough to put China on the alert : in response, all main highways leading to Shijiazhuang were closed. Other actions have been taken immediately after such as the closure of schools and the train station. Movements are also controlled. The governement does not want a new wave in the run-up to the New Year celebrations. A scenario such as this could be catastrophic after coming out victorious from the first one a year ago.

Bien sûr, il s'agit d'un nombre très faible de personnes, mais cela suffit pour mettre la Chine sur le qui-vive : en réponse, tous les principaux autoroutes menant à Shijiazhuang ont été fermés. D'autres mesures ont été prises immédiatement après, telles que la fermeture des écoles et de la gare. Les mouvements sont également contrôlés. Le gouvernement ne veut pas d'une nouvelle vague à l'approche des célébrations du Nouvel An. Un tel scénario pourrait être catastrophique après être sorti victorieux de la première il y a de cela déjà un an.
